The Rheumatology and immunology department is one of its kind specialty clinic spearheaded by experienced immunologist and rheumatologists Dr.Chandrashekara.S and Dr.Dharmanand.B.G. This department caters to a wide variety of patients suffering from disorders such as arthritis, vasculitis, SLE, immunodeficiency and autoimmune disorders. Complete care is provided to the people attending the clinic under a single roof.

There are 20 beds for in-patient care. Backed by the trained residents, junior registrar and physiotherapists, the department has unique specialized services for the treatment of patients. Advanced arthritis clinic, an integrated approach by rheumatologists, orthopaedicians, physiotherapist and orthotics has successfully mobilized several invalid advanced arthritis patients to be on their legs and to lead an independent life. Joint restoration clinics- a concept oriented treatment of destructive rheumatic disease, in reducing the disability of the joints using splinting and appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Social support by social workers and counseling by experienced counselors and other supportive services to the patients and their family, adds a lot in the patients well being

Infection & Immunity
 
The department is conceptualized to provide high quality and compassionate care for patients with Immunodeficiency syndromes, infectious diseases, and retrovirus infections with or without opportunistic infections. Department provides high quality patient care through a team of renowned Immunologist, Infectious disease specialist, multidisciplinary consultants and allied health professionals. Department has a fully equipped laboratory with experienced Pathologist and Microbiologist working full time. The lab is equipped in molecular diagnostics and molecular biology. CD4/CD8 counts and virtual loads are done with utmost precision. Trained counselors, medical social worker at the department provide complete care for rehabilitation of patients and help them to cope up with their disease. Faculties in pulmonology, dermatology, neuropsychiatry is available at the center for complete patient care. We provide high quality out patients and inpatient care services.
 
 
Allergy & Pulmonology
 
Allergic respiratory disorders in particular asthma and respiratory tract infections are increasing in the developed and in developing countries. Childhood and adult asthma is major clinical causing a great burden to the family and society. So our primary concern is to constantly monitor the situation under modern scientific guidelines, modern screening technology and various preventive and health education activities. The department is headed by a Pulmonologist and equipped with modern methodologies for diagnosis and therapy. Immunotherapy and immune modulators and other therapeutic and diagnostic techniques are made available to help the patients suffering from allergy.
 
 
Orthopaedics
 
This department is established is to cater to the special needs of arthritis patients and for the early and effective correction of disabilities that can occur in these patients. Consultants having good expertise in these areas are managing the department it also caters to the need of other orthopedics problems also.
 
 
Ophthalmology
 
This consultants in the department are well experience the diagnose and effectively treat the Ophthalmic complications of Rheumatological and Immunological diseases as also other general Ophthalmic problems. The department has an established Optometric section to deal with all the correctable sight problems.
 
 
Hand Surgery
 
As arthritis can lead to deformation and reduced hand movements are disfigurement, it needs expert diagnostic and surgical corrective are therapeutic intervention. The department hand surgery is created to deal with the specific situation by surgeons having expertise in re constructive surgery to give the patient total or near total functional capability of their hands in spite of the deformity.
 
 
Spine Surgery
 
This department is headed by an expert in the field of critical spine surgery. The department takes care of all the needs of arthritis patients and also other non-arthritis back problems needing surgical intervention.
 
 
General Surgery
 
This department takes care the surgical needs of the patients visiting our hospitals as also any required general surgery needs of arthritis patients.
 
 
Physiotherapy
 
This department has modern equipment’s and devises for relief of pain and maintenance of joint movements. The department with good qualified and trained Physiotherapists can handle any kind of disability problem in arthritis or otherwise. With the inputs from Rheumatologists and Immunologists a regular exercise instructions programme is in place for all the new arthritis patients with an instruction booklet. There are facilities for regular therapy session and even home visits if required for seriously disabled patients.
 
 
Pediatrics
 
This department caters to the specific needs of early diagnosing and effective treatment of childhood Rheumatological and Immunological problems and other specific growth related diseases of the children. This department with expert Psychiatrists and Medico-social workers is established to interact and guide arthritis patients and also other patients with Psychological problems like depression, life styles coping up problems etc. this helps them to recover and adapt to the family and society at large
 
 
Radiology
 
Our hospital has a good well equipped Radiology department with qualified Radiologists and Radio diagnostics technical staff available all the time. Equipped with 300 MA machine and also a mobile Radiology unit this department able to cater to any emergency requirements of both inpatient and out patients.
 
 
Laboratory Services
