Academics

ChanRe Rheumatology and Immunology Centre & Research, apart from being a specialized centre of patient care for Rheumatological and Immunological diseases also prides itself to say that it is a centre for academic development in the field of Rheumatology and Immunology.

A few areas of our endeavor in the field of academic and research as follows:

1. Training of Medical and Para-Medical specialists:

a)	Fellowship in Rheumatology-one year post MD regular training programme.
b)	On job training in Rheumatology for Junior Doctors.
c)	Training of Medical assistants, Physiotherapist and other health care staff, in caring Arthritis patients, their rehabilitation and family counseling.
d)	Adapting alternative medical treatment methodologies for the specific benefits of Arthritis patients, like Yoga, etc.
e)	Conducting structured and recognized courses in Laboratory Technology, X-ray technology and other ancillary medical technologies.

2. Research:

Basic Research

>>	In house in CRICR and in association with CDL
>>	In association with other institutes in Bangalore and other places

Scientific

4. Continuation of Medical Education (CME):

a)	Periodic workshops and seminars for the benefit of Physicians and medical and clinical research students.
b)	Annual ChanRe Update programme in the month of December every year to highlight on specific area of Rheumatology and Immunology as also to project our progress for the year in patient care and research.

5. Recognition of Excellence:

a)	Award of excellence and award of Merit for Dissertation/ Thesis related to Rheumatology.
